Brian Kim, Associate, joined Kline Hawkes & Co. from Lehman
Brothers where he was an Investment Banking Analyst. While at
Lehman Brothers, Brian worked on and executed several
transactions, specifically equity offerings, sell-side M&A
processes, restructuring and leveraged buyouts. At Lehman
Brothers, Brian focused on the automotive, capital goods,
packaging and steel industries. Prior to working at Lehman
Brothers, Brian gained experience as a summer analyst at Harvey
& Company, a private investment firm in Newport Beach,
California. At Harvey & Company, Brian primarily focused on
industry research and due diligence. Brian currently serves on
the Board of Directors of Cyalume Technologies, a manufacturer
of chemiluminescent devices and advanced infrared applications.
Brian is currently a board observer of the following companies:
Advanced Machine & Stretchform International, LivHOME, NewBridge
College and Vermont Composites. Brian is actively involved in
the financial analysis and monitoring of most of Kline Hawkes’
active investments. Brian is also involved in analyzing and
conducting due diligence on new investment opportunities within
various sectors, such as Web 2.0, IT, business and consumer
services and specialty manufacturing. Brian received a Bachelor
of Arts degree in Economics and Mathematical Methods in the
Social Sciences from Northwestern University.
