Cogent Communications Group, Inc. (Cogent) provides high-speed Internet access to businesses and other telecommunications service providers, which are located in buildings directly connected to its fiber optic network. Services provided to customers in these locations using Ethernet interfaces are called on-net services. The Company also offers off-net services to customers using leased circuits providing traditional Internet access speeds of T1, E1, E3 and T3. It also provides high-speed Internet access and rack co-location in approximately 27 data centers in the United States and Europe.
